Idaho Women in Timber Updated:08/2020

Our Mission

We are a fellowship of women whose mission is to educate people of all ages that trees are renewable natural resources and wise forest management touches their everyday lives. We support our affiliated States and chapters in their goals of promoting the social, economic, and environmental benefits of sustainable forestry. Our efforts include advocating legislative initiatives that promote healthy forests as well as the creation of jobs.

Our grass-roots organization made up of all volunteers has been active for over 30 years. We welcome any level of participation from ALL community members.  We do not require that you work in any particular environment to join our group. Get involved in Idaho Women in Timber! You can help us educate both the public and elected officials.  We have a unique role in advocating for the wise use of our natural resources to benefit communities, schools, and the creation of jobs. Please inquire today about how you can become a part of our growing membership, we can do more with your help.
